What is an APK?
An APK (Android Package) is the installation file format used by Android. Installing an APK directly is called "sideloading" and requires enabling installation from unknown sources in your device settings.

- You may need to enable installation from unknown sources in your device settings (usually found in Security settings)
- Open the downloaded file to install Benji
- Start building better habits!
Use Benji as a Web App
You can also use Benji as a web app in Chrome on your Android device. For the best experience, add it to your home screen:
- Visit app.benji.so in Chrome
- Tap the menu button (three dots) in the top-right corner
- Select "Add to Home Screen" or "Install App"
- Follow the prompts to add Benji to your home screen
This creates a PWA (Progressive Web App) that looks and feels like a native app, with its own icon on your home screen.
